Quill sat in his tower and watched the landscape beneath him. He was in a realm called Farr-Mo'akk. Farr-Mo'akk was one of the several realms connected to Ins-Mo'akk, or Gaterealm. Gaterealm was a world between worlds of sorts. It was inhabited by a race of giants that did what they could to protect the Gateshards, which were objects used to travel mostly to and from Gaterealm, though there were some that held two other realms together, such as the one at Stonehenge in Joh-Mo'akk. Dante woke up on his couch early in the morning, just as the sun was rising. He stood up and walked over to the window to look outside. It had been weeks since they celebrated the holidays and Team Bolt had went back to Europe, as Dante and Ishmael were once again ready to fight demons without any added assistance. Two small children were huddled in the corner of the room. Their parents' murderer stared at them with a grin that literally went from ear to ear. It had long lanky arms and teeth that looked like butcher knives. Its fingers stretched out into scythe-like blades. It had wide eyes and a pale face. Any movement would allow it to pull him into it; looking away or closing his eyes, even to blink, would allow it to replace him with his own reflection and let loose a very powerful spirit into the world.
